In this episode of Wine, Women, and Revolution, Heather interviews 3 women from the New Jersey Abolitionist Collective. Heather’s former intern and show writer Leah also joined the interview. NJAC strives to bring the message of police abolition to South Jersey and across the state. Also, they push back against the reformists. Finally they act as a network for abolition workers across the state.

NJAC released a series of demands for Atlantic City, and the Stockton campus. Unfortunately, they weren’t well received. But, that just shows the need for more organizing in South Jersey. The people hold the power. Abolitionist have a very different view of the future. In their vision, the community redirects their resources. Money serves the people.
